Imessage - Android uselessness

surely I can't be the only that has this, nobody seems to have found a solution yet

I'm in a group of people

Person 1 - iPhone
Person 2 - iPhone
Person 3 - iPhone
Person 4 - Me (iPhone)
Person 5 - Android

Person 1 starts a group text and everyone gets it but me. Various people on the thread reply and everyone gets the replies, except me

I start a group text with the same people, and I get nothing but 'Message not delivered' and nobody gets anything.

I'm on T-Mobile (who have tried all sorts including charging me $10 for a new sim), same result
I have tried an AT&T sim...same result.

I can't send messages to the group, or receive messages from the group

anything else I can try?

Does it work with only iphone people?
Did you recently change carriers or switch from andriod to iphone or iphone to andriod to iphone?

yes, if I remove the android person then I can send messages to the group. I have been with iPhone for 10 years and with my current carrier for 7. It's just odd that other people in the group (on iPhones) are receiving the messages and have no restrictions.

I am also unable to send or receive MMS messages from android users...

Do you have MMS messages turned on?

Group messages with Android users use MMS messaging.

Check with your carrier to make sure you 8 not getting MMS problems then.
