iMessage app crashing

Has anyone else experienced their iMessage app crashing while writing a rather long message? This has happened to me a bunch of times on my iPhone X.

Yes! my Apple iMessage app was crashing on my X after restoring. Hard reset wasn't working. All I did was went to settings- General- Reset- Network Settings. Then it was working fine and haven't had this issue over a week. Hope this helps.
