iMessage apps in macOS Sierra?

Hi there!

I upgraded to macOS Sierra GM a few days ago and everything is running smoothly.
But I'm missing something, maybe I remember this wrong, but does Messages in macOS Sierra also support Message-apps as in iOS?

I can't seem to find a sticker-browser or those animated GIFs or any of that kind. The Tapback-feature is integrated although not really intuitive.
It seems Messages on macOS is now a lot less powerful compared to Messages on iOS.

Any infos is highly appreciated.

I know right - I use Messages on my Mac even more than I use Messages on my Phone! Well, perhaps not more, but definitely enough to warrant Apple treating them with the same importance. Silly not to anyway.

iOS features always seem to lag behind Mac OS releases, maybe next year?

Sierra can't show full screen or bubble effects in iMessage, only 'reactions'. You can't send full screen or bubble effects in iMessage for macOS. You can't get stickers or iMessage apps on Sierra. This is gonna be so incoherent on release.

Express yourself in fun new ways. Send a huge emoji. Respond back with a heart or a thumbs-up on a friend’s message bubble. And play videos and preview links right in the conversation.

From what I've seen though, no way to send any of the new features, but you can receive most of them.

It's not intuitive, but Tapback does work - context-click on a message and first option is to "Tapback".
Emojis are big if you don't add any text to them, but so far Links don't show in the conversation - you have to click on the preview to make them show.

But missing out on all the other new stuff in iOS is really a letdown.
