Could it be possible ? to log on to iCloud and select an iMessage app from the icons in the back, then use the web app to continu my conversation were I left off, ( as in if I dont have an iPhone, and my iPod touch does not have access to Wi-Fi) would maybe come in handy

What do you think ?

Sure, it's possible

While technically possible, Apple might feel like it'd dilute the appeal having iMessage brings to its iOS devices. If it were accessible via the web they'd lose in-network exclusivity it currently has, people with iMessage would be less likely to say to a friend, "Hey, get an iPhone so we can use iMessage."

It would be made available to Android since it will have to be based on web technologies.

You wouldnt get SPAM from Samsung/Android but you would be able to communicate outside of iOS users. I'm just saying what would possibly happen if Apple included an iMessages web app like iWorks.

That would be handy. One of the great things about iMessage is getting them on my Mac. It would be nice to log into iCloud and see any waiting messages!

I would like to see iCloud store entire message threads. This way when your get a new apple device you can sync all of your existing threads instead of starting new ones. It would also make sure threads stay current and updated on all devices with no missing messages.
