Hey everyone,
I updated to iOS5 last night and my iMessages won't activate. It says awaiting. Then it said it was unsuccessful. Then I rebooted the phone. Then I reset the network settings. Turned iMessages off and on. Still will not activate.

Also when I try to get an SMS it says my mailbox is full. I have never had to delete any messages before. My friend with a 3GS isn't having any problems.

Anyone able to tell me what is happening?
Thanks.

Exact same problem for me. :(

I live in Denmark, so it's not carrier related.

It appears to be so that you have to restore the iPhone as "blank" to make texting work. At least if you want it to work now. Hopefully Apple have people on overtime to work this out....cause it's without excuse that so many of us can't receive text's. :(
