It is puzzling me that among me and my kids, we can't have each other to be recognized in To field. Instead, ! Red bubble indicating invalid... Who shows up as invalid are different among us too. iMessage thinks they are not registered while it is...

Also, my kid never got welcome to iCloud email, although the email still works.

The short of the long is associate email addresses and your phone number in message prefs and make sure it validates.
