iMessage/FaceTime Activation error...

This error message always shows up after switching either iMessage or FaceTime on and "Waiting for activation..."

But for some reason, everything works fine on my iPad. I'm glad it isn't my Apple ID or carrier being the issue... But does this mean I need to restore my iPhone 4?

Im having the same problem, are you using a Gevey?

worked for me

use a different Wi-Fi connection (friends, neighbor’s), then return to yours and it will login.

just a silly question i know (",) but on imessaging if you put the name of you contact how do you change it if you want to send sms instead of imessage????

Why would you want to send an sms if you could send an imessage?
