iMessage forwarding to stalker?

Hi,
Recent break up and we both have MacBook Pros.
Looking in my iMessage settings on my iPhoneX,

-see picture- What is the (2) ??

Could he have set up a MacBook Pro name it the same as mine, and the (2) means two devices, one is his?

It is common for macOS to change the name of your computer in that way. Check your own MacBook Pro at System Preferences>Sharing to see your computer “name”.

To be extra careful:

1. Sign into appleid.apple.com
2. Change the password on your Apple ID.
3. Check the list of devices associated with the account. Anything odd, click on the device and click "Remove from Account".
   
4. Verify trusted phones are yours
5. Make sure "Reachable at" entries are only yours
