iMessage: GPS location bug

When I shot a photo and send it via iMessage, the GPS location is sent correctly in the EXIF informations within the picture.

When I shot a picture within iMessage, the picture doesn't contains any GPS informations.

Have anyone tried iOS5.1 beta yet? Is this bug/behavior fixed in this release?

I believe only pictures taken with the Camera app, not the picture taking API, save the location.
