Not sure where the best place to post this is, so Mods please move if necessary, but I used my Mac to post it through iMessage so I'll start here.

I posted a message to a group of 7 people (5 Apple users, and 2 Android users). The message is showing up for the recipients as if I sent it individually. And replies that I am getting back are individual as well, so the other 6 users in the group can't see them.

I haven't had this issue before and am not sure where to start looking for answers. I did upgrade my laptop to Ventura a couple of weeks ago, but I've sent group messages before and haven't had that issue, so I'm not sure it's related. I don't see any obvious settings that I could change to make sure these show everyone in the group when the message goes out, but possibly I'm just missing something simple.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

It did resolve itself at some point, but it's not because of anything I did or anything I changed. Not sure how to help as it appeared & disappeared on it's own

I not only have had this issue since updating to Ventura, I have additional information. I've noticed the first message out on the Mac is successful, but subsequent messages have a high rate of failure (maybe 100%). That first message is sent to all in the group individually based on feedback from the recipients. If I send a subsequent message in the thread from my iPhone, it goes to the group and to them it is the first message in the group thread since the prior group message didn't include the other members, i.e. they now have two threads, one personal and one group. However, on my Mac and iPhone, it shows only one group thread with both messages. I have seen it correct itself and I have not yet figured out the circumstances.

Interesting. It seems to have stopped for me recently, but if it comes back, that is good info to verify, to see if it's happening the same over here. Thanks for the heads up.

I've narrowed down my problem to be that the first message sent to a mixed group of iOS and Android users from my Macs and iPad goes out individually, but as soon as I send a second message it seems to work just fine. I've talked to apple three times. Every time we get closer and think it is resolved, but it is not.

I just started experiencing this I believe after I upgraded to the latest beta last month and now an ALL devices on latest beta versions (iOS and macOS Ventura):

1) I don't receive any messages from newly created group with mixed devices

2) All my group messages to newly created groups of mixed devices is sent out as individual messages

Exisiting groups with mixed devices works just fine; it's only newly created groups.

I've just upgraded my iOS devices to this month's latest beta and haven't so far seen it fixed. I'm in the process of upgrading Ventura to this month's beta and will report back if there's a resolution...

Oh, BTW, I tried Hebriewyn's method of sending a test message several times in a row to a newly created mixed group and it didn't resolve the individual messaging like it did for him.
