iMessage issue

I'm receiving all the new features in texts from someone but when i try to send messages back using slam or the writing it keeps giving the error and then sends as a text... any thoughts why or how to fix this??1

I haven't tried it yet, but sounds like a bug. Report it to Apple.

If the person you message does not have the iOS 10 - then you cannot send the new stuff.

Try sending an iMessage with the new features to yourself and see if it works.

I am being able to send the new messages to myself but the other person (who also has ios10) is unable to receive my new stuff. I am able to see his new stuff.Weird.

I like the new iMessage but no one I know has iOS 10 yet
