why does my imessage load up text messages from days prior when i sign on to it on my MacBook Pro? Takes up so much time before it catches up. Please someone help.

Messages is a complete mess (just as Notes that creates 5 duplicates of some of my notes
) and it needs fixing server-side I believe. Still hoping .3 will fix it but I don't have high hopes.
