I thought this time stamping/order issue was fixed in an earlier OSX update, but I still seem to have messages completely out of order when I use iMessage on my Mac. Granted, it may have 30-100 messages to re sync every day or so but I don't understand why they are so out of place - some of my replies or recipients replies are 4, 5, 10 messages back. It's bizarre.

e.g;

My reply was at 12.46 but the original message was at 12.37, however, the latter is displayed lower down the thread than the reply.

I'm still getting that a little too. I was able to decrease the frequency of this problem once I realized that not all of my iMessage devices were using the same address/phone number. Once I set them all to use the phone number as the primary contact, it got better.

Yeah, I have all my devices set to only my phone number. Ordering is fine on iPad even if I don't use it for a few days, but the Mac problem, whilst improved, is still way off for the best part. Shame, because I do actually love sending messages from my Mac when I'm working. So much more efficient than picking up my iPhone to read and reply.
