I'm finding with my iPhone X that iOS 11 no longer supports predictive emojis in iMessage (i.e. where I type 'cat' on my iPhone 6, it includes the cat emoji(s) in the predictive text option bar).

If I tap on the emoji keyboard after I've typed my message it still gives me the option of replacing 'matched' words with emojis, just not while I'm actually typing the message as it does on my iPhone 7.

It seems odd for this functionality to exist on one iPhone version, but not another, or did I miss a setting somewhere? (predicitve text is turned on and works just fine, it's just the emojis that it doesn't suggest).

Send yourself a dozen emojis or so, all separate messages. This usually fixes it.

When I first got my X, predictive emojis weren’t showing up either. Then they did, without any particular cause.
