I cannot send message from my Mac Pro anymore. When I write messages they are not delivered. I quit Messages and then reopened it. I am asked for my apple id and password. I entered them and get an "error occurred during authentication. I know the id and pw are correct - if I enter a wrong one I get a message saying wrong pw or id.
I upgraded to a new iphone x. The old phone (7plus)was wiped and my wife restored it with a backup from her computer. Both have the latest iOS. The Mac Pro is still on Sierra (10.12.6.)
