iMessage not showing name?

Just sent my first few iMessages to my sweetie when I noticed that it shows her telephone number instead of her name on the screen. Now when I push "back" to go back to the scree that shows all of my text message strings with other people it shows her name, but when I go back to her string individually it goes back to her telephone number, which is very annoying.

Anyone else with similar problem? Is there an option I don't have on? I almost don't want to use this if its going to show a number and not a name.

I started a thread yesterday with the same problem. I went into message settings and logged out of my apple id and it fixed it. I still don't know how to stay logged in and not have this problem.
