Hi,
when I text one contact that also has iOS 5, my iphone does not send the message via iMessage. The contact does have iMessage activated, has a valid apple ID and has access to the network.

When I text other people with iOS 5 it works fine.

What can be the reason ?

Do you (try to) send iMessages to his mobile # or his iCloud address?
Are the messages going through as SMS or are they failing?
Are you both located in the same country?

Now it works. I just had to disable/enable the iMessage on her iPhone. I think the initial "activation" was not done.
