iMessage Not Working on iMac

I linked everything together (iMac, iPhone, iPad) and iMessage has been working great...up until the other day. Now my iPhone and iPad are syncing...but my iMac isn't working anymore with iMessage?

I log off and log back in (on my iMac) and when I do both devices are alerted that my iMac is now using iMessages...but it still won't work on my iMac?

Any ideas on how to fix this?

same thing happened to me..I have no idea what happened except I did a recent update and now it don't work

Messages on iMac stopped working...maybe when i updated to macOS Sierra...? What's happening to Apple seems more and more of these issues.
