iMessage not working on iPhone 6

It won't open and I'm not receiving message notifications. This occurs even when I force close and try again. I have to reboot just to get it to open, but it eventually fails when I try to open it later. I do have a large (7GB) iMessage profile. I'd rather not delete messages or do a fresh restore if I don't have to. Anybody else having this problem or know of a fix?

Yes, but on 6s and it is quite annoying. I'm planning on doing a complete wipe and restore as painful as it may be when I get the chance.
