Hi,

My dad has iMessage on his Mac and I've had him send me some files over (we're all on the same WiFi) but they only make it to my iPhone 3GS, not my iPad 3 and Mac, despite them using the same address.

Does anyone know why or has anyone had a similar problem? This may even be happening with normal text iMessages.

Yes happens to me, I tried setting it up a few times, I can sometimes get messages sent to my email address to come to the Mac but never to my phone number, even though the app on my iPhone and on the Mac confirms it has been registered. I gave up trying to get it to work on the Mac. Just another poorly implemented feature set by Apple, becoming more common these days...the "sometimes it works feature".

Thanks for your reply,

I'm going to try and figure it out soon. It was working just fine initially, but it stopped for some reason.
