When I click pictures in iMessage info for a person, some pictures which were taken before I upgraded to iOS 13 have a time in the right lower corner as if they are videos. This issue still persists on my iPhone XR on iOS 13.2.2. Is anyone else experiencing this?

This is true for Live Photo’s that have the “bounce” or “loop” effect applied.

None of these are Live Photos since my old phone didn’t even support Live Photo’s and neither did my wife’s.

I am having this issue and I am still waiting a fix after three updates, I have called Apple and they apparently know of many issues with messages but obviously aren’t competent enough to fix them or just don’t care!!

Very strange. I’m seeing the same thing now on my 11. What’s odd is that sometimes if I tap to open the photo, then navigate back to the list, the time is either gone or has changed to something else. My guess is that it’s an indexing issue where it’s assigning the time to the wrong thumbnail in that list. I’ll go ahead and submit a bug report.

Still not fixed in 13.3. I give up. It will never be fixed.
Have you contacted Apple?
