iMessage problem

Have had this problem ever since I separated my dual sims to their own phones. Used to have VZW and ATT in one phone when the dual sim feature launched and then when I separated them when I go to send an iMessage using effects I get this.

Apple has escalated to engineering but of course no one knows how to fix it.

any help would be appreciated.

If apple doesn’t know how to solve it, you’re unlikely to get too much help here. But was the thread in question a thread that used the other number at some point?
