I have a 2021 M1 IPP Pro 2TB. My iMessages don't show up until way later. I've turned it off in iCloud and get the message not finished syncing. What can I do to fix it? My IPP 2018 had no problem with this

Initial setup? Then it’s normal to have some delay. I normally don’t use the iPad the first couple of days and just leave it plugged in so it can finish all its syncing and indexing.

If you’ve had the iPad for a while and it happens regularly, you might want to contact Apple support. Mind, I think there was an issue with iCloud services just yesterday.

Maybe try a hard. Reset. If no luck then try factory reset and fresh instalL.
I did the hard reset and thought things were good, then again tonight messages weren't syncing. Just did a factory reset, will see what happens.

So far not looking good, it isn't seeing text messages sent this evening. Apple support my only option now?

I would think Apple will hopefully offer a solution. Funny though as my wife and I share an gmail address. It is one of her main addresses but I always get notifications first and she will be notified much later. We have never figured this out and have tried everything. We have exact same phones as well. I know it's not exact but it is very similar to your situation.

SMS syncing via iCloud to iMessage on iPad or iMac has some of them broken for the last few iOS iterations. More specifically your iPhone has to be unlocked for that text message to actually show up in your iPad which is a pain in the butt. This is why Apple needs to stop early some new features and probably fix the features that have been promised some seven now eight years ago witches iMessages in iCloud if that was implemented to properly and I don’t wanna be able to access our iMessages or the web interface by end encryption and at the same time disability to probably see text messages and iMessage a short both on watch Mac iPhone and iPad in a proper timeline.

Last night I just thought of this M1 iPad to 256 11 inch and I’ve noticed the first thing that when I sign in to my iCloud I got the two-factor authentication prompt to authenticate but then on my MacBook Pro it signed me out I have to sign back into iCloud the same thing on my iPhone with your phone very strange and I was a pain. Still not resolved on iPad.
