Okay so I tried to search in the forum and did not see this specific question answered, and in the past, I know its worked because I have gotten a red exlamantion point with a not delivered.

here is the situation.

I was using my iMessage from my iPad. I was trying to send myself 5 pictures (from photos, select 5 images, hit message, type in my cell), so they go to my iPhone.

Here is the situation:
I hit another friends number. I notice this before as the pictures are being 'sent'.
Panicking, I throw the iPad into airplane mode.
I go look at my iMessages to see if they are delivered. They are not 'delivered', but the 4 pictures are in the chat box. They do not show anything under any of them (neither delivered or not delivered).
I had to leave and go back to where my iPhone was, so I left my iPad in airplane mode.
I get to my iPhone, there is the chat box with this person. The pictures are in the chat box (making me think they would have gotten through to the person).
Again it does not show Delivered underneath the picture.

I sent an iMessage to the person from my iPhone (iPad still in airplace mode).
The message went thru right away and shows delivered.
Of course this is within a span of an hour, so there is no space between the 4 pictures and new iMessage.

Since there is delivered under the iMessage text chat I sent, but there was not before under the 4 pictures....have the 4 pictures been delivered, or was I able to stop them from being sent by throwing it in airplane mode?

^^The thing I'm struggling with..is if they did not go through bc I threw it in airplane mode...how did it go to my iPhone box text chat (and that may be something that is super easily explained by someone who knows there way around here).

Again, my apologies if this has been posted and answered before, I really appreciate all the help.
