In iOS 9, I swiped to bring up the quick reply to new messages. In iOS 10, it looks like that requires force touch?

Is that right? I just don't get this feature any more because I have an SE?

I am confused about the quick reply, is that feature only available via force touch on 6s or can you still drag down to quick reply?

On devices with 3D touch - you 3D press to bring up the quick reply. You slide to the left to Clear.

On devices without 3D touch - you slide to the left to get both View and Clear. View brings up the quick reply.

Both methods - sliding right brings you into Messages.

You can drag down from a notification while your phone is unlocked, but any lock-screen notifications that you want to interact with require swiping left and tapping View.

Thanks for the reply, so for 3D touch supported devices, the only option to quick reply is the 3D touch press and left swipe only shows clear button without the view button.

Nothing happens when I drag down, for example the window notification for messages will drag without a field popping up for replying.
