iMessage Sender Name Incorrect

Hi there.

Had to log out of my iCloud and log back in to address Notes app not syncing.

Since doing that - whenever I send a message using iMessage - my sender name comes up on other people's devices as my Apple ID email address. As you can imagine - some people don't know who is sending the text messages

I have tried changing this by using the "Edit Name and Photo" on my iPhone and iPad - but didn't seem to have an effect at the recipient's device...

Any suggestions?

Settings-Messages-Send&Receive, uncheck your AppleID email address and make sure your phone no. is checked.

You are awesome - that seemed to fix it...

Thank you so much for getting me out of this endless loop of restarting->logging out->logging in>trying things I thought might be the problem->repeat-> etc., etc.
