iMessage - stickers, animations, etc.?

I'm a bit confused. I thought Sierra would be getting the exact same iMessage animations (slam effect, disappearing ink, etc.) and stickers (App Store) like iOS 10, but I've also seen reports here saying otherwise. Can someone clear up whether or not Sierra would be getting those?

Sierra will only be able to view the implementations as far as I know.

But I think the problem is you would need iOS apps to run on the mac before any of the apps work. That just doesn't work as code is written for iOS. It's way to different from the mac. Every developer (some of which don't m is how to code for the mac) with an iMessage app would have to write the app again for the mac.

Sticker packs are just bundles of images - they don't include any code. So enabling them for macOS shouldn't have been an issue.
