iMessage Unification in ML

Ok, I don't know why this wasn't included in 10.8, but it's still not in 10.8.1. Everyone knows how annoying it is for other people to have multiple threads for your phone number and your email. This is coming to the iPad in iOS 6, why didn't it come in ML already?
Does anyone know if it's in 10.8.2? If not, do we have any idea when, or (god forbid) if, it is coming? It would make iMessage so much better!

It works on iOS 6, so you probably have to wait until that is released.

Running iOS 6 everything is unified and works fine. So its not Mountain Lion, its waiting for iOS6.

No. The thread indicates that you need iOS 6 on your iPhone and OS 10.8.2 on your computer to get iMessages unified completely with your phone number and email address.

Yes, but I'll bet they release both to the public on the same day...I'm thinking 12 Sept 12. iOS6 unifying iPads/iTouches & 10.8.2 unifying the Macs. iPhone is already unified.
