imessage voice memo sent to me, can it be saved to pc desktop???

i have an imessage file i need to save to my desktop, how do i do that?

i tried edit, forward inside of imessage and sent it to 3 of my email addresses.......no voice memo is there.

is there anyway ifile and/or ifunbox can find the audio clip sent to me from another iphone and i can save it to my desktop?

any help would be appreciated

Cut and paste into a note, Evernote, or any other word processor, then send it to yourself (e-mail, syncing, etc).

doesnt work.
when i COPY from the messages and then PASTE to anywhere (notes included) it only comes up as MEMO.
MEMO = the title of the voice message sent via text message to me.

how can i get the voice text message saved to my pc desktop?
there has to be a way to transfer it

My voice memo's get transferred into iTunes.

If you sync your phone, and you iTunes library is organized by Artist name... The memo's will show up at the very bottom of your music list (since the artist section is blank)

This comes after years but I was looking for just this capability and you can save a voice message as follows:

right click on the voice message in the messages app on your Mac and select "copy"
Make a new Note in the notes app and select "paste"
The audio file is now embedded in the note but I was uncertain if it was really stored there or just a shortcut to the message so.....
Right click on the Voice Message in the Note and select "share". Then select "email" and send it to yourself.
When the mail has arrived just use the "save" attachments and it creates a .amr file wherever you want it on your system. Give it a meaningful name.

Double clicking opens Quicktime player and you can listen to it.

I could not find a "share" directly in the messages app for the voice attachment so this two step method seems to be the only solution. Of course I suppose you can just leave it as a note but again not sure if that is just a shortcut to them file.

BTW I tried exporting the Note to PDF and the Audio message shows up but is not actually useable.
