I am traveling out of the country next week and my plan is to purchase a SIM card in the country I'm in so I'm not paying AT&T's expensive travel fees. If I put in a new SIM, will I have issues with iMessages (iOS to iOS) friends and family who message me? My current iMessage Send&Receive settings had my AT&T phone number and my @icloud email address listed, with "Start New Conversations" set to my AT&T number. What happens when I pop in the new SIM?

Anyone texting your at&t number may have an issue.

The easiest way is to message them from your email address asking them to start the convo with that

If you're both on Messenger, use that instead?
