So I've ran into a problem with using iMessages on my iPad. I think it's cool as hell that I can keep my convos going from iPad to iPhone, but the conflict is with using the apple ID. AFAIK, the only way to keep the convos synced is to sign into the iPhone with the apple ID, and set the "caller ID" to the email. The problem is that from now on when you compose the imessage to someone new, it blasts them with the email address that 99% of my contacts don't have. Any possibility that later on they could begin to associate phone numbers with apple ID's? So I could sign my iPad into my cell # and not my phone into my apple ID? Just food for thought cause it's caused me some problems already

This is a big pain if you own multiple iOS devices and an iPhone.

Basically, if you send an iMessage to a phone number, that message only goes the the iphone and doesn't also get sent to the iPad.

Really really poor implementation.
