iPhone Imessage won't register

Long time lurker here.
Iphone 5 with 7.0.4
I have tried everything to get imessage to register it just won't.
I think I need to restore the phone now to get it to work.
Do you guys think ilex rat will work for this?
Im open for suggestions.

iMessage only depends from your carrier, so it has nothing to do with your IOS or jailbreak. You can tru to reset settings, but only settings, not content and settings and than try to activate it again.

1. turn off imessage
2. Go here https://supportprofile.apple.com/ and unregister your device.
3. restart phone then turn on imessage.
4. should activate now.

Craziest thing happened to my Dad with his 5S and 7.x as well. Randomly stopped registering for iMessage, nothing I did ever fixed it. I eventually had to just update his phone for him (he was jailbroken as it was my old phone, however never used it).

If you figure out a solution, i'd love to know what worked.

I believe its a well known bug with older ios versions and imessage/facetime not activating.
You will have to restore to the latest ios version.
