Does anyone’s messages ever get messed up on iMessage while using the iPad? I don’t have my iMessages on my iPad because I was worried that some messages would get mixed up - I.e. some would only go to phone and not iPad, or how Mac users would experience some only going to phone and not Mac, etc. does this still happen?

also what’s the best site to sell in a Mac to get the most cash?

I have iMessage activated on both my phone and my iPad and I've never had any issues. All messages, sent and received, appear on both devices.

Message synchronization has been more of an issue in the past than it is now. There are two features for you to consider:

Text Message Forwarding - this forwards SMS messages from your iPhone to Macs and iPads (and allows you to reply to SMS from iPad and Mac). For many iPad users, SMS has been the true "missing messages" issue. You turn on Text Message Forwarding on you iPhone - Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding. There are no settings to adjust on the iPad or Mac.

Messages in iCloud - This feature synchronizes your messaging activity in iCloud (similar to IMAP mail accounts like Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook.com, etc.). The same message activity should appear on all your devices. If you use this feature you'll be using iCloud storage space (sometimes a lot of iCloud storage), but if you weren't using it, the iMessage traffic would still be part of your daily iCloud backup, taking up similar space. You have to enable this feature separately on each of your Apple devices. The biggest "gotcha" of using Messages in iCloud is that there is no "Recently Deleted" - if you delete a message/message thread it will be deleted from all your devices, with no un-delete available (let's hope that changes sometime soon). https://support.apple.com/HT208532

iMessage works fine on my iPhone 11 Pro and my 12.9-inch iPad Pro. My messages sync between both devices.

Dude, that’s a big iPad! 😂 Can echo this, have had iMessage and SMS forwarding activated on all my devices, and it has been seamless to date.
Yup. I've forgotten my iPhone at home a few times and iMessage+SMS forwarding and FaceTime calls saved my butt when that happens.

Alas, wi-fi calling doesn't want to work with my iPad and I'm not really in the mood for a 1+ hour call to AT&T to get that fixed.

Same as SMS. Somehow, and I can’t figure out why, but I can use my iPhone SE to text using my main number when my iPhone isn’t nearby. My iPhone SE is my secondary number with its own phone number but I have it set up to use my main number when sending texts out. Calls, it uses the phone number that’s assigned to the iPhone SE.

I forgot my iPhone 11 Pro at home the other day while at work but had my iPhone SE. I use it for music in my car. I was able to text with that using my main number, no problems at all. I was surprised. I’m with Visible so I don’t have the handoff feature when not near my iPhone like postpaid services offer. So I don’t know how that is able to work.

I use iMessage seamlessly across my iPhone, iPad and 2 macs. The only sync problem app be noticed is when one of the devices wasn’t connected to internet for an extended period, It takes a while to get things sorted properly otherwise everything works as expected.
