I have ios 6 on my iphone and have the ipad sync with my number. Today i decided to log in imessage on my mac and it doesnt sync with my number, only email. Is this possible on the mac or not yet? thanks

imessage follows your .me or .mac email address, not your #. Yes it should sync up with your computer as long as you have that email address logged in for imessage.
Messages on Mac will probably be updated to sync with phone numbers when iOS 6 is publicly released.
