Hi all,

Is there anyway to tell Messages/iChat to open the Contact window instead of the Messages window when you click its dock icon? The default behaviour is rather annoying lol

is Contacts Window Contacts.app

What window do you mean? Choosing: Window -> Contacts opens the contacts app. If that's the window that you want then you can have it open by clicking that app's icon in the dock instead.

She doesn't mean the actual Contacts app, but the buddies list. You have to click Window -> Buddies to show the list of available contacts to chat with. In iChat this used to be the default window.

I used to want this feature too... but after using iMessages a little bit more, I got used to the "new" way of imessages and I really like this one better.

If I want to send a messages to someone I click on the send button and start typing his/her name and choose in which service I want to chat...

The only problem that I have is when someone has a lot of phones/emails and iMessages shows all of them, a little messy. Should show just the ones that are 'working'
