Dear All,

Having issues with iMessages sending. A few reports on Twitter too.

Anyone else having this issue?

London, England!

I'm in the US, and iMessage doesn't seem to work for me too -- iOS 7 on iPhone and iPad

I also haven't been able to send an iMessage from my iPhone 5 on TMobile in the US since yesterday. Have been able to receive iMessages, though, which is odd.

Checked the iMessage server status on Apple's site, and it looks ok. So did a soft reset on my phone (hold down Home and Lock buttons together for ten seconds), and all is working now.

Point of order, that is not a soft reset. It is a hard reset. It is the equivalent of pulling the power cord out of your computer. Apple suggests it only as a last resort. It is much safer to power down your phone by holding the power button and sliding the shutdown slider when it pops up.
