I hope someone had experienced this issue and knows a quick and reliable resolution: Two devices, iPhone and MBA, both running the latest versions of iOS/macOS (no beta), iMessages in iCloud setup for 1 year to retain the messages on both devices. MBA follows the schedule and deletes the messages, iPhone does not. Any idea how to tackle this issue?

I’ve been dealing with this for the last 6 or so months. My iPad and Macs auto delete fine, but my iPhone does not. I’m not even sure if it’s actually erasing everything from the cloud beyond that time. I’m assuming as my storage goes up and down but some old messages pop up even after the auto delete. I contacted apple a reported the issue a month ago with no solution.
