i have been texting a person since mid February. She has an android phone and can tell that we have over 17,000 texts since then. I would like to reread some of our earlier text but don’t want to scroll thru all of them. Is there a quick and easy way to view the early text? Thanks for any responses.

Hmm only thing I can think of is to search for random letters or phrases (maybe even Hey or Hi) and scroll down to the earliest result. If it can get you in the vicinity, then you can open the convo there and then just keep tapping the status bar to get to the top quickly.
