I don't know where to post this at all because it's an iMessages problem on the Mac and the iPhone.
Can anyone tell me why I get badge notifications that I have messages waiting, yet no new messages at all, even if I go through every conversation I have? And just how do I get it to stop? I see a read unread messages, but that just says no messages available. I don't see a mark all read like you'd find in an email client. It can be quite annoying if I'm waiting for something...
