Ok... so this isn't really a question or anything, just a statement.

For anyone that has been reading stuff on twitter, everyone is downloading the iMessenger app that is on the app store.

If you look down here... http://twitter.com/#!/search/iMessenger its just shocking the amount of people that are downloading the iMessenger App.

Makes me angry when apple have actualy come up with something good in iMessage and they arent seeing any benefits from it because people are not seeing it.... Because its not a seperate app, people dont see it until they use, unless they know what they're looking for!

Don't know if I feel more for the users thinking that they are using iMessage, or for the developer who is now getting horrible reviews because their servers are collapsing!

Over here in the UK, its currently shot up to #15 in the Top 25 Free list in the app store!! it was nowhere to be seen 24 hours ago! and its still rising! be interesting to see how high it gets before it starts falling again!

Or iMessenger people update their app description stating that they are not iMessage. :D That might be a smart thing to do...

Actually, looking at their app, it hasn't been updated since January of 2010. Also their Twitter account had a last post back in March of 2010.

Maybe Apple should just pull it.

I saw this as well rising up the UK App Store, it's tragic that users think this is one of the new features!
