I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced iMovie effects sending the selected frame into a "Blue Spasm"? For some unknown reason when applying the 'lightning bolt effect' we now have a situation where the selected frame takes on a pale blue wash over the whole image .
We're using iMovie V4.0.1 in OSX 10.4.3
Any one got any ideas where to start to sort this out quickly. This is a new issue, never seen it before. Only recently done OSX updates, no previous problems with this version and no idea why it has started!!!!!

Make sure the format you´re working with is the same as imported clips; NTSC or PAL. I´ve experiences faulty transitions when iMovie makes a NTSC project for PAL imports.

iMovie Effects problem

Thanks Belly Laughs.
Transitions were OK, The problem was only in 'effects'. We got around it by deleting the effected clip and re-importing it again. Applying the same filter fresh to a "still frame" then re-sync-ing the sound track. We never seen a Mac effect play up like that before. Cheers CB
