It doesn't say it Will NOT work with the 3gs but we shall see.

It won't be HD but a frame is a frame.

I hope so. The 3GS can only capture SD video, so I don't think editing SD video would require the beefier A4 processor. But I wouldn't be surprised if Apple decided otherwise. If Apple decide to move on, they move on. Backward compatibility be damned.
