iMovie audio problem

Okay, I did insert some mp3s to an iMovie film and when I fade them out and cut the rest off, everything sounds fine in the preview. But when I decode it into a .mov or a .dv file, 0,5 sec. or even almost a minute of the mp3's come back and ruin the movie. Even if I empty the trash, the cut off audio files appear in the final movie.

Need help.
