I am making a slideshow with several pictures of the same person. Some pictures have the person up close and others more at a distance.
I want to zoom/adjust each picture/slide so that their face is in the same location (for purposes of one face picture fading into the next). I guess I can use sticky notes on the screen to mark the location of eyes/nose mouth. But I was wondering if there's a way in the software to accomplish this?
Thanks.

I would use Keynote(if you have it) for that, with each picture on a different slide. You can then easily flick from one slide to the next and make minute adjustments to get them lined up. You then export the finished project as a Quicktime video.

While the zoom part is easy to acchieve - there is no alignment tool for this purpose in iMovie. Indeed the best option is probably to use marker on the screen.

You could try some morphing program like MorphX - but that might require cropping the images beforehand. If you have some experience with python you’ll find several implementations on GitHub
