I am not a content creator but sometimes, I would like to edit video for fun. How hard it is for Apple to make iMovie a simple to use app? Whenever I try to edit a video, it shrinks. With Android phones native apps, editing is very easy and fun. If I just need to cut a video and add music, why iMovie can't keep the original resolution? Yes, there are Apps which can do the stuff how I want but, when I spend thousands of dollars for a mobile, I do expect better apps from Apple.

Lumafusion is what you are looking for on the iPhone. On the iPad, you can move up to Davinci Resolve. Apple software is always the weak link. As good as their hardware is, their software is the inverse.

Thanks! Better to spend 30$ and find peace in life than being annoyed. I found that Cap Cut do the stuff I want and it is free. But it does add credentials at the end. Don't have the need to go for subscriptions or paying large sum for an App.
