Hi
Hopefully i have posted this in the correct area of the forums:
I am wanting to use iMovie to make some short clips which mostly include still photos taken from my iPhone X. Problem is that almost none of these images appear in imovie other than being visible in the "Media" library under Photos Library.
If i click on one, the preview on the right does not show the photo.
If i drag it to my selection down the bottom, it shows ok, but when playing, nothing plays, just a black image.
I do notice that if i have edited the image on my phone, it does appear as expected. Could it be a "live" photos thing? Surely imovie can handle live photos by now??
I am using a MacBook Pro Early 2011
2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
8gb Ram
HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
Running High Sierra 10.13.6
Could this be part of the issue? Am i due for an upgrade?
Thanks everyone in advance,
Tim
