Hello all, I have a couple of questions on iMovie.

  1. How to remove and then add audio to a short movie clip?
  2. Good sources of free, as in copyright and no charge music to add as a soundtrack?
We made a short clip of our students talking with some presenters in a startup hub and wanted to post it to social media.

Thanks on advance.

How to remove and then add audio to a short movie clip?
Put the clip into the Timeline. With the clip selected, go iMovie Modify Menu>Detach Audio. This will place the separate audio file under the clip. You can then delete it. As an alternative, you can just mute the audio via the Modify Menu.

To add audio, just drag and drop the audio file under the clip on the Timeline.

Can't help with #2.
