so I've just gotten an eMac, and I love it, but that's beside the point.

Is there a basic guide for imovie for someone just getting started?
Does anyone have any recommendations. I have a bunch of stuff on my camcorder and I wanted to put a project together.

Is there a guide for imovie that came with it that I don't know of? Or is there a book that anyone can recommend?

I like "iMovie 04 and Garageband - the Missing Manual" by Davod Pogue.

It's a mixture of SW help and filmaking help - unless you're a pro filmaker already - you need both kinds of help.
