iPad Import bookmarks to Safari

How do I import bookmarks from Chrome to Safari? I somehow deleted all safari bookmarks when switching to a new iPad. I have chrome installed on my iPad and on my laptop.

Do you sync with iCloud? If so, you should be able to login* there and somewhere is an option to restore deleted things.

I figured it out using itunes. I gave my old ipad to my parents to try. It is still under my account. I deleted some apps and all safari bookmarks. It must have synced with icloud when i deleted them and synced with my new ipad.
