Hi, I live in australia and i've found that if i import an ipod touch from the US it turns out a lot cheaper, but will the warranty still be valid if i import it from the US to australia?

Is this the same for a Mac? Because my school bought over 20 Macbook Pro's from America to Holland (way and way cheaper thanks to euro > dollar) and they are concerned if they have a warranty here in Holland.

Anyone can help me?

Why don't you just call Apple and see?

I'm pretty sure Apple's Warrentys are worldwide.

Either way, it should be in the documentation that comes with the computer/iPod.

World wide after the computer is registered. Otherwise the merchant might have issues with being seen as an exporter by Apple. We can't sell to students here unless they have an address in country to register their product to first, then they can move that registration to any country in the world.
